Saabham was a short PSA video short during the lockdown in 2021.

Defeating over 83 entries from the UK, Indonesia and Cambodia; Himavarthiniy Easwaran was announced as the Top Winner taking 2 Awards home which is ‘The Best Overall Film’ and “AUPP Dramatization or Re-Enactment Award’ with her film project ‘Saabham’.

#Saabham (saa-paam), n.: curse in Tamil, is based on true events. Living in a world where s*xual harassment happens everyday, and can happen to anyone feels like a cursed life. We are so tired of predators shaming, blaming and ruining the lives of victims. If you are triggered by this, ask yourself why? Why would you be triggered if you are not a predator? Voice out and stand up for what's right. Stop normalizing r*pe culture in everyday lives.

Wolf is Hima Easwaran's first short film which was also her final year project for her degree. Wolf was shot during the lockdown in 2020. It is loosely inspired by the unsolved cases that has taken place in the northern region of Malaysia. Sara and Yasmin are housemates in an old apartment block that has seen better days. The residents pretty much keep to themselves and has little interaction with one another. One uneventful day Yasmin disappeared from their home and little is known to what has happened to her.
